UT Health East Texas HOPE Cancer Center - Tyler
Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Stephanie Bennett, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a nurse practitioner at UT Health East Texas HOPE Cancer Center who specializes in cancer care. Her care philosophy is based on a continuous healing process, customized to the patient’s needs, values and choices.
“I hope to always provide my patients with a sense of comfort, peace and support,” she says. Bennett chose to focus on cancer care because she “wants to work with a patient population that I would get to care for over a long period of time. I enjoy building relationships and getting to know my patients, and working in this area allows me to do just that. Having personal experiences with oncology care has also provided me with a better understanding of what my patients and their families may be feeling during different times of their journey.”
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, watching movies, going to the lake, traveling, golfing and watching any Texas Tech University sporting event.
