Kavitha Donthireddy, MD, is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist at UT Health East Texas HOPE Cancer Center in Tyler. “I come from a family of doctors and healthcare was part of my childhood. I saw firsthand the difference physicians make in people’s lives and the patients’ heartfelt appreciation. I knew I wanted to go into the medical field as well.”
Dr. Donthireddy strives to provide patient-centered treatment in a compassionate way by taking into consideration the core values of every patient. She sees patients 18 years and older, and specializes in lung cancer treatment.
In addition to English, Dr. Donthireddy speaks fluent Telugu Hindi. She enjoys traveling with friends and family, hiking and outdoor activities.
Dr. Donthireddy is employed as a clinical faculty physician at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler under the UT Tyler School of Medicine.
